Ordering

All New Mexico orders, commitments for ALTA policies, can be faxed to the First American Title office to the attention of the chosen Escrow Officer or Assistant. Purchase Agreement contracts and deposit checks will be picked up by our personnel.


By the end of each business day, First American will provide confirmation of all orders reflecting the File Number together with the Buyer's name, Borrower's name and Escrow Officer in the transaction.

Turnaround Time

Title binders will be delivered 3-5 business days from the time the order is received. We will advise as soon as possible of any difficulties which would prevent delivering the binder within the agreed upon time.

Pricing

• A 25% Builder rate discount on title premiums
• A Builder rate escrow fee.

Courier Service

We will pick up all related documents to the transaction. We can provide delivery of overnight documents to the concerned parties of the transaction, with charges for shipping only and no "hidden charges".

Customer Service

For the Builder's convenience, we offer:

• The Seller's documents delivered to the Builder's office for signature and review
• Delivery of proceeds promptly after recording and funding
• Phone calls or e-mail response within two hours

• Home Buyer's Guide booklet
• Notice to Purchaser Explanation - English
• Notice to Purchaser Explanation - Spanish
• Notice to Purchaser/Insured - English
• Notice to Purchaser/Insured - Spanish
• Flexible closing appointments

Marketing Services

First American offers marketing support with their highly skilled and innovative Marketing & Business Development Department.

We offer the following services of interest to Builders:

• Demographic Profile Reports are available for any Bernalillo, Valencia, or Sandoval county areas being considered for vacant land acquisition.
• Assistance with Open Houses, public Grand Openings, and advertising promotions
• Tours - scheduled Realtor Tours, where agents see and learn about the Builder's homes, in order to bring their customers to buy homes

A Marketing & Business Development Representative will be assigned to work directly and diligently with the Builder in conjunction with the Escrow Officer handling the account.

All products and services have fees charged in compliance with  New Mexico Title Insurance RULES and RESPA

Miscellaneous

First American participates in and supports the Home Builders Association of Central New Mexico events promoting builder activities, Homes of Enchantment Parade of Homes, Showcase, Housing New Mexico, Green Builder/Build America and Charity Golf Classic.

We will actively assist in clearing title problems. On-site title coordinator and underwriting will ensure prompt decisions. Our computerized processing will provide prompt and accurate title information.
